This Privacy Policy explains how Notary Capitol ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit course.notarycapitol.com, register for or purchase the Notary Capitol Signing Course, or communicate with us.
When you enroll or purchase, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, and billing details. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number. Like most websites, our sites may also collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
We use your information to process your purchase and deliver Course access, send transactional emails (receipts, login details, Course notifications), respond to your questions and support requests, and — only if you gave consent at checkout — send marketing emails and/or text messages about training tips, updates, and offers. We may also use aggregate, non-identifying information to improve our sites and the Course.
Transactional messages (receipts, login details, access information) are sent to all customers as part of delivering your purchase. Marketing emails and text messages are sent only if you opted in, and consent is never a condition of purchase. You can opt out at any time — click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or reply STOP to any text message. Message and data rates may apply to texts.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who make the Course work: Systeme.io (our course and marketing platform), Stripe (payment processing), Zoho (email), and similar providers acting on our instructions. These providers may store data on servers in the United States or elsewhere. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Our sites use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions like keeping you logged in and remembering your progress, and may use them for basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.
We retain your account and purchase information for as long as your Course access remains active and as needed to meet legal and accounting requirements.
