These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern your purchase of and access to the Notary Capitol Signing Course and related materials (the "Course") offered by Notary Capitol ("we," "us," or "our") through course.notarycapitol.com (the "Site"). By purchasing, enrolling in, or accessing the Course, you agree to these Terms in full.
The Notary Capitol Signing Course is an online, self-paced training program for notaries and notary signing agents. It is educational and instructional only. It does not confer a notary commission, government certification, license, or official credential, and completion does not guarantee employment, assignments, or income from Notary Capitol or any other company.
You must be at least 18 years old and a validly commissioned notary — or eligible to become one — in your jurisdiction to purchase and use the Course. You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.
Completing checkout is an offer to purchase the Course under these Terms. Your order is accepted when payment is successfully processed and access is granted. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.
The Course is offered at the price shown at checkout, in U.S. dollars, as a one-time payment unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time, but the price applied to your order is the one displayed when you ordered. Payment is due in full at the time of order and is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. Applicable taxes, if any, may be added.
The Course is a digital product delivered electronically. Upon successful payment you receive access through your account, with login details sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Access is normally granted immediately. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and keeping your login credentials secure. Access is provided for the lifetime of the Course.
We want you to enroll with confidence. If you decide the Course is not the right fit, contact us at course@notarycapitol.com within 14 days of your purchase and we will issue a full refund, provided you have not completed the final assessment or been issued a certificate of completion. Refund requests made after 14 days, or after the final assessment has been completed or a certificate issued, are not eligible for a refund except where required by law. If you were charged in error or experience a technical problem accessing the Course, contact us and we will work with you in good faith to make it right.
All Course content — videos, text, materials, and downloads — is the property of Notary Capitol and protected by copyright. Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the Course for your own individual training. You may not share, resell, distribute, reproduce, record, or give any other person access to the Course or your login. Access is for one individual only.
You agree not to misuse the Site or Course, including by sharing account access, copying or redistributing content, or interfering with the Site's operation. We may suspend or terminate your access without refund if you violate these Terms.
The Course is for educational purposes only and is not legal advice. Notary laws, lender requirements, and signing procedures vary by state and change over time; you are responsible for complying with those that apply to you. Notary Capitol makes no guarantee of results, work volume, income, or outcomes from completing the Course, which is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Notary Capitol and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of the Course. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Course.
Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy. By purchasing, you consent to transactional emails about your purchase and access. Marketing emails and texts are sent only with your consent, and you may unsubscribe or reply STOP at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the courts located in Hudson County, New Jersey.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you purchase governs that purchase.
